The motto for our trip is
Mark 10:14-15
When Jesus saw this he became indignant and said to them, "Let the children come to me; do not prevent them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Amen, I say to you, whoever does not accept the kingdom of God like a child  will not enter it."

The Patron Saints for our trip are St Francis Xavier and St Jerome Emiliani.  Click on the names below to get more information about them.
St. Francis Xavier: 1506-1552. "...considered the greatest missionary since the time of the Apostles...".
St. Jerome Emiliani: 1481-1537. "...showed his zeal especially for the orphans, whose number had so greatly increased."

In the July trip, our service projects included painting several areas, knocking down an old building,
and assisting in moving materials around items around.  In this Nov trip, we have been advised that our
project will actually include construction !! :-)  We did!!!
* Project info per Matty !!*
Mustard Seed in Jamaica has requested that we construct another chicken coop at their Jerusalem! apostolate.  Their are two chicken coops already in operation at that site, and a third will help Mustard Seed continue to achieve their goal of self-sufficiency.Remember, while we've been assigned this project, it may very well change when we get there for a variety of
reasons.  Stay open to change... it will be one of the best ways to prepare for this trip.
